Kartik Chandran

I was born in Chennai, India in 1974. After completing high school in Bangalore, I pursued undergrad studies in biochemistry at Lafayette College, PA. I then joined Max Nibert's group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I worked on the cell entry and assembly of the double-strand RNA mammalian reoviruses. Following my Ph.D., I continued to work on viral entry-related problems in Jim Cunningham's lab at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA. I live in Brooklyn with my wife, Brenda Mudry, and our 4 year-old son, Amartya.
